Hannah Palmer lives on the south coast in Kent. When she’s not writing, she can normally be found with a book in her hands.
Hannah has always been interested in dark thrillers with a spattering of horror and is thrilled to have found a way to express that passion. Her main influences are authors such as Neil Gaiman, Margaret Atwood and Gillian Flynn.
‘Number 47’ is Hannah’s first novel and was inspired by the darkness that everyone tries so desperately to repress. It explores themes of love, belonging and when passion leans into obsession.
Hannah is currently working on the first draft of her second novel, One Road In. One Road In is built around regret, lies and the necessity to reconcile events of your past in order to move on with your future. It’s another thriller but with a touch more horror, and maybe a surprise supernatural element or two.
